I briefly met him once in Jan. 1965 in front of Graceland. He was absolutely accommodating. I was so dumbfounded I could hardly speak. I finally went back to that spot 57 years later. Although completely changed, the front gate where we met was exactly the same. He got out of his car just to say hello to a young sailor. He was for real.....

When Elvis started playing in Vegas that's when things started really going downhill for him. And you can see it plane as day! Two or three shows a day too much strain on a person's voice. Not to mention their health! In the 68 comeback he still had his voice 4 years later he did not! When a person tears their vocal cords they never quite sound the same and their voice gets deeper and that's what happened to Elvis! Where were all his so-called friends? Far as I'm concerned they were all users! And in the end we will all have to pay for our sins!

I wish he had learned to say NO to things he didn't want to do. Movies he didn't want to be in and concert after concert. That manager wore him out. At the age of 45 and still going strong it all got to him. His health should have been the number one thing his manager should have made sure of. He just didn't know how to slow down and enjoy HIS life. The fame got to him.

I swear to God, only Elvis could wear 70s high fashion and look sexy af! Also his talent was off the scale as was his sense of humour. Even without the oodles of talent, he was sooooo fine to watch and hilarious in between. But when he rocked out conducting the drums and rest of the band, those beautiful hips were magical to watch. He could be here now at 89 and he'd still be the most stunning, generous and funny person alive. The man was sheer perfection 🔥 long live the King ❤
